Meet David Gerrer, PT, COMT

David Gerrer, PT, COMT, founder of Journey Physical Therapy, is the expert you can call on anytime you have a musculoskeletal injury or condition that prevents you from participating in your usual activities.

David takes his work very seriously and maintains the highest level of professionalism and pursuit of excellence by applying advanced, evidence-based medicine and best practices.

When you choose Journey Physical Therapy, David is the only physical therapist who will treat you. He performs all evaluations and treatments one-on-one, one client at a time. He will never juggle two to three patients in tandem or interrupt your treatment session to direct ancillary staff. At Journey Physical Therapy, there are no physical therapy assistants, techs, or aides.

Having 27 years of clinical experience working in various clinical settings, with exposure and experience treating a very diverse patient population, including complex neurological, orthopedic, and sports medicine patients.

During this time, I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the most talented physical therapists, gifted neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, medical doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals.

In the medical field, like many other professions and jobs, experience matters.

Additionally, my commitment to improving my skills through countless hours of continuing education and coursework.

I am one of about a thousand therapists in the United States as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars, a leader in continuing education providing a world-renowned approach to treatment.
